The decline barbell pullover primarily targets the chest muscles while also engaging the shoulders and triceps. It's performed on a decline bench to facilitate a greater range of motion and increased muscle activation.
How to do it
- Lie on a decline bench holding a barbell with arms extended above the chest.
- Slowly lower the barbell in an arc over your head, keeping elbows slightly bent.
- Bring the barbell back to the starting position above your chest.
