The dumbbell pullover is an exercise that primarily targets the upper body muscles, focusing on the chest and back. It engages the pectoralis major and latissimus dorsi, promoting both strength and flexibility. This movement is also beneficial for improving shoulder mobility.

How to do it

  1. Lie on a bench, supporting your upper back and shoulders.
  2. Hold a dumbbell with both hands above your chest, arms slightly bent.
  3. Slowly lower the dumbbell behind your head in a controlled manner.
  4. Bring the dumbbell back to the starting position above your chest.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
