The cable pulldown with a pro lat bar targets the back muscles, enhancing upper body strength and definition. By pulling the bar down in front of the chest, you effectively engage the lats and other back muscles, improving posture and stability.
How to do it
- Sit at the cable machine with thighs secured under the pads.
- Grasp the pro lat bar with a wide overhand grip.
- Lean back slightly and pull the bar down towards your chest.
- Squeeze the shoulder blades together at the bottom.
- Slowly release the bar back to the starting position.
