The Cable Seated One-Arm Alternate Row is an effective exercise for targeting the upper back and improving unilateral strength. It primarily focuses on the latissimus dorsi and helps in developing a balanced strength across both sides of the body.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the bench with your feet flat and knees slightly bent. Grasp the handle with one hand.
  2. Engage your core and keep your back straight as you pull the handle towards your torso, keeping your elbow close to your body.
  3. Pause briefly, then slowly release the handle back to the starting position. Alternate arms with each repetition.
