Equipment
The lever lying single leg curl targets the hamstrings through isolated flexion of the knee joint, using a leg curl machine. This exercise helps in building strength and size in the hamstrings, enhancing knee stability and improving overall leg power.
How to do it
- Lie face down on the leg curl machine.
- Position your knees just over the edge of the bench.
- Hook one leg under the lever pad with the other leg relaxed.
- Curl the pad up by flexing your knee to raise it towards your glutes.
- Lower the pad back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
