The lateral raise with towel is a bodyweight exercise focusing on the shoulder muscles. It is performed by placing a towel against a wall and using lateral arm movement to engage the deltoids. This exercise is excellent for enhancing shoulder strength and stability without the need for weights.

How to do it

  1. Stand sideways next to a wall, holding a towel in one hand.
  2. Place the towel against the wall with your elbow bent at 90 degrees.
  3. Push the towel outward against the wall using your shoulder, keeping your body stable.
  4. Hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
  5. Switch sides and repeat with the other arm.
