The lateral raise with towel is a bodyweight exercise focusing on the shoulder muscles. It is performed by placing a towel against a wall and using lateral arm movement to engage the deltoids. This exercise is excellent for enhancing shoulder strength and stability without the need for weights.
How to do it
- Stand sideways next to a wall, holding a towel in one hand.
- Place the towel against the wall with your elbow bent at 90 degrees.
- Push the towel outward against the wall using your shoulder, keeping your body stable.
- Hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
- Switch sides and repeat with the other arm.
