Star jumps are a plyometric exercise that improves cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and explosiveness. They involve jumping into a wide stance while raising arms overhead, engaging both upper and lower body for a full-body workout.

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with feet together and arms at sides.
  2. Jump up, spreading legs wider than shoulder-width and raising arms overhead.
  3. Land softly and return to the starting position.
  4. Repeat continuously for the desired number of repetitions.
