The Landmine 180 is a rotational core exercise that engages the obliques and improves stability and power through the torso. It involves swinging the end of a barbell from side to side, challenging balance, coordination, and core strength.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing the landmine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Hold the barbell with both hands, arms extended, starting at one hip.
  3. Engage your core and rotate your torso to bring the bar across your body to the opposite hip.
  4. Pivot your feet and hips to aid the rotation, keeping your arms extended.
  5. Control the movement back to the starting position, alternating sides.
