The side bend exercise using a bottle for weight targets the obliques, helping in developing core stability and lateral strength. By bending sideways, it effectively engages the side muscles of the abdomen, providing an excellent way to tone the waistline.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a bottle in one hand.
- Place your other hand behind your head.
- Keeping your back straight, bend sideways toward the bottle, engaging your obliques.
- Return to the start position and repeat for the desired reps.
- Switch sides and repeat.
