This exercise focuses on improving thoracic spine mobility. It helps in enhancing spinal flexibility, which can lead to better posture and decreased risk of back pain. The movement involves spinal rotation in a kneeling position, engaging core and back muscles.

How to do it

  1. Start in a kneeling position with hands on the ground.
  2. Place one hand behind your head.
  3. Rotate your torso towards the side of the raised arm, opening up your chest.
  4. Hold briefly, then return to the start position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps and switch sides.
