The Kettlebell Low Windmill is an exercise that enhances core strength and stability while also improving shoulder flexibility and balance. It involves a combination of bending and rotation that targets the obliques and stabilizes the shoulders as you hold a kettlebell.
How to do it
- Start by standing with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell in one hand.
- Extend the arm with the kettlebell down by your side and raise the other arm overhead.
- Bend at the hip, lowering the torso to the side opposite the kettlebell while keeping both arms straight.
- Engage the core and maintain balance as you return to the starting position.
- Repeat on the other side.
