The kettlebell box squat is a lower body exercise focusing on strength and muscle development in the thighs and glutes. It incorporates a kettlebell for weight resistance and a box to ensure proper depth and form. This exercise is great for improving squat technique while enhancing lower body muscle activation.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright holding a kettlebell at chest level, feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Position a box behind you for support and depth guidance.
  3. Lower yourself into a squat by bending at the hips and knees, sitting back onto the box.
  4. Pause briefly on the box, keeping the core engaged and chest up.
  5. Push through the heels to return to standing position.
