The inverted row is a bodyweight exercise that targets the upper back and biceps. It involves pulling your chest towards a bar while your body remains straight. This exercise improves upper-body strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Lie under a fixed bar with arms extended, gripping the bar with an overhand grip.
  2. Keep your body straight, forming a rigid plank from head to heels.
  3. Pull your chest towards the bar by retracting your shoulder blades.
  4. Pause at the top with chest close to the bar, then slowly lower back to the start.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining form throughout.
