Incline push-ups involve placing your hands on a raised surface to perform a push-up. This variation targets the upper chest and shoulders more intensely than standard push-ups while also engaging core muscles for stability.

How to do it

  1. Place your hands shoulder-width apart on a step.
  2. Extend your legs back, balancing on your toes, body in a straight line.
  3. Lower your chest to the step by bending your elbows.
  4. Push back up to the starting position by extending your arms.
  5. Maintain a straight body line throughout the exercise.
