The above head chest stretch is a static exercise focusing on improving flexibility and mobility in the chest and shoulder areas. By raising the arms overhead and stretching, it targets the pectoral muscles, helping to alleviate tension and improve posture.

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Interlace fingers and raise arms overhead, keeping elbows slightly bent.
  3. Gently push hands upward and slightly back, feeling a stretch across the chest.
  4. Hold the position for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
  5. Release and repeat as needed.
