The incline chest press is a strength training exercise focusing on the upper portion of the chest. It involves pressing a barbell or dumbbells upward while lying on an inclined bench, promoting upper body strength by targeting the Pectoralis Major Clavicular Head.

How to do it

  1. Set the bench to an incline angle of around 30-45 degrees.
  2. Lie back on the bench with feet flat on the ground for stability.
  3. Grip the barbell with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width.
  4. Press the barbell up until arms are fully extended.
  5. Lower back down to the chest with control and repeat.
