The incline chest press is a strength training exercise focusing on the upper portion of the chest. It involves pressing a barbell or dumbbells upward while lying on an inclined bench, promoting upper body strength by targeting the Pectoralis Major Clavicular Head.
How to do it
- Set the bench to an incline angle of around 30-45 degrees.
- Lie back on the bench with feet flat on the ground for stability.
- Grip the barbell with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width.
- Press the barbell up until arms are fully extended.
- Lower back down to the chest with control and repeat.
