Heel Press is a stretching exercise aimed at enhancing flexibility and strength in the calf muscles. It involves pressing the heels against a solid surface to stretch the muscles, promoting better range of motion and reducing the risk of injury.
How to do it
- Stand facing a wall, placing your hands against it for support.
- Extend one leg behind you, keeping the heel on the ground.
- Press the heel down, feeling a stretch in the calf.
- Hold the position for 15-30 seconds, maintaining a straight back.
- Switch legs and repeat the stretch.
