The front plank with twist is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the obliques and rectus abdominis. It enhances core stability and adds rotational movement to traditional planks, engaging more muscles and improving torso flexibility.

How to do it

  1. Start in a forearm plank with elbows under shoulders and body in a straight line.
  2. Engage your core and lift one arm off the ground, rotating your torso open to one side.
  3. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side, alternating sides.
