The EZ Bar Seated Triceps Extension is an isolation exercise that targets the triceps brachii. Seated on a bench, it involves extending the arms overhead while controlling the movement with an EZ barbell. This exercise effectively builds the size and strength of the triceps muscles.

How to do it

  1. Sit upright on a bench with feet flat on the ground.
  2. Grip the EZ bar with both hands, palms facing up, and lift it overhead.
  3. Lower the bar behind your head by bending your elbows.
  4. Pause briefly at the bottom, then extend your arms to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, keeping back straight and core engaged.
