The reverse-grip preacher curl is an isolation exercise that targets the forearms and biceps. Performing this curl on a preacher bench prevents momentum from assisting the movement, allowing for better muscle activation.
How to do it
- Sit on a preacher bench with the EZ barbell in a reverse grip.
- Rest your arms on the angled pad with elbows slightly bent.
- Curl the bar towards your shoulders, keeping the back of your arms on the pad.
- Pause at the top, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
