The reverse-grip preacher curl is an isolation exercise that targets the forearms and biceps. Performing this curl on a preacher bench prevents momentum from assisting the movement, allowing for better muscle activation.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a preacher bench with the EZ barbell in a reverse grip.
  2. Rest your arms on the angled pad with elbows slightly bent.
  3. Curl the bar towards your shoulders, keeping the back of your arms on the pad.
  4. Pause at the top, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
