The EZ Bar Close-Grip Preacher Curl is an isolation exercise primarily targeting the biceps brachii. It involves curling an EZ barbell with a close grip while seated on a preacher curl bench, effectively isolating and working the upper arm muscles for increased strength and muscle hypertrophy.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a preacher bench and adjust the seat to place your arms comfortably on the pad.
  2. Grip the EZ bar with palms facing up and hands close together.
  3. Slowly curl the bar upwards towards your shoulders, keeping upper arms steady.
  4. Pause at the top of the movement, then lower the bar back to the start position.
  5. Repeat for desired reps, maintaining control and form throughout.
