The EZ Bar Close-Grip Curl primarily targets the biceps brachii, helping to increase upper arm strength and definition. This exercise is performed with a close grip on an EZ bar, which allows for a more natural wrist position, reducing strain and focusing on the biceps.
How to do it
- Stand upright holding an EZ barbell with a close grip, elbows tucked by your sides.
- Keep your back straight and chest up.
- Curl the bar upwards towards your shoulders by bending your elbows.
- Squeeze the biceps at the top of the curl.
- Lower the bar back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
