The dumbbell seated drag curl is an exercise focusing on biceps development and improving arm strength. It involves pulling the dumbbells upward while keeping them close to the body, which emphasizes the biceps brachii and reduces swinging momentum.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms extended, and palms facing your thighs.
  2. Pull the dumbbells upward, dragging them against your torso while your elbows move slightly back.
  3. Pause and squeeze your biceps at the top, then slowly return to the starting position.
