Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The Dumbbell Standing Concentration Curl focuses on isolating the biceps, enhancing arm strength and definition. By concentrating on one arm at a time, it maximizes muscle engagement and improves muscle imbalances, making it an effective exercise for targeted bicep development.
How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in one hand.
- Bend forward slightly, keeping your back straight, and rest the opposite hand on your thigh for support.
- Curl the dumbbell towards your shoulder, isolating the bicep muscle.
- Squeeze at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
