Elevated Push-Up
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
Elevated push-ups are a variation of the standard push-up exercise. By elevating the hands on blocks, they increase the range of motion and target the chest muscles more intensely. This exercise helps in building upper body strength and improving muscle endurance.
How to do it
- Place your hands on two raised blocks, shoulder-width apart.
- Position your body in a straight line from head to heels, engaging your core.
- Lower your chest towards the blocks, keeping elbows slightly tucked in.
- Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps while maintaining form.
