The dumbbell overhead tricep extension targets the triceps brachii, enhancing arm strength and definition. It involves lifting a dumbbell in a vertical motion behind the head, engaging the triceps through the full range of motion.
How to do it
- Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell with both hands.
- Raise the dumbbell overhead until arms are fully extended.
- Keep elbows close to the head, bend them to lower the dumbbell behind your neck.
- Extend arms back to starting position to complete the repetition.
