The dumbbell overhead tricep extension targets the triceps brachii, enhancing arm strength and definition. It involves lifting a dumbbell in a vertical motion behind the head, engaging the triceps through the full range of motion.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell with both hands.
  2. Raise the dumbbell overhead until arms are fully extended.
  3. Keep elbows close to the head, bend them to lower the dumbbell behind your neck.
  4. Extend arms back to starting position to complete the repetition.
