Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The Dumbbell Single-Arm Preacher Curl targets the biceps by isolating them on the preacher bench, allowing for controlled elbow flexion. This exercise is effective for building muscle mass and enhancing the peak of the bicep by providing continuous tension.
How to do it
- Sit on a preacher bench and place your working arm on the pad, holding a dumbbell with an underhand grip.
- Keep your upper arm stationary and curl the dumbbell up by flexing the elbow.
- Pause at the top, squeeze the bicep, and slowly lower the dumbbell back to the start.
