The dumbbell pullover on the floor is an upper body exercise that primarily strengthens the muscles of the chest and triceps. Lying on the floor, you extend a dumbbell overhead and then bring it back to the starting position, engaging the chest and triceps throughout the movement.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
- Hold a dumbbell with both hands, arms extended over your chest.
- Keeping your arms slightly bent, lower the dumbbell back over your head until your arms are parallel to the floor.
- Return to the starting position by bringing the dumbbell back over your chest.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
