The kettlebell alternating press on the floor is an upper body exercise focusing on the chest and triceps. This exercise also engages the core for stability as you alternate pressing a kettlebell with each arm while lying supine.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat.
- Hold a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder level with elbows bent.
- Press one kettlebell upward until the arm is fully extended.
- Lower the kettlebell back to the starting position.
- Repeat with the opposite arm.
