The dumbbell pronate-grip triceps extension is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. By positioning the hands in a pronated grip, the exercise emphasizes the long head of the triceps, promoting muscle growth and strength in the upper arm.
How to do it
- Lie on a bench with your feet flat on the floor.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand, arms extended above your head with palms facing away.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells towards your forehead by bending your elbows.
- Pause briefly, then extend your arms back to the starting position.
- Maintain control of the weight throughout the movement.
