The Dumbbell One-Arm Hammer Preacher Curl is a bicep isolation exercise that emphasizes the brachialis and brachioradialis. Performed using a preacher bench, it supports the elbow and limits shoulder movement, allowing for concentration on arm flexion.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the preacher bench, resting one arm on the pad.
  2. Grasp a dumbbell with a neutral grip, palm facing inward.
  3. Curl the dumbbell towards your shoulder, engaging the biceps.
  4. Slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for desired reps, then switch arms.
