The Dumbbell Lying Single Extension targets the triceps, focusing on strengthening the upper arm muscle through an isolation movement. This exercise is effective for building triceps mass and definition and enhancing arm strength.
How to do it
- Lie flat on a bench with a dumbbell in one hand, arm fully extended above your head.
- Keep the other hand on your upper arm to stabilize.
- Slowly bend your elbow, lowering the dumbbell towards your forehead.
- Extend your arm back to the starting position, making sure to control the weight throughout.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
