The Dumbbell Incline Y Raise targets the shoulder and upper back muscles, enhancing stability and posture. Performed on an incline bench, it helps in developing the deltoid and trapezius muscles, improving shoulder mobility and strength.
How to do it
- Set the bench to a 45-degree incline.
- Lie face down on the bench, holding dumbbells in each hand.
- Start with your arms hanging straight down, palms facing each other.
- Raise your arms at an angle to form a 'Y' shape, keeping elbows slightly bent.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
