The Dumbbell Chest Supported Lateral Raise is an exercise that targets the shoulder muscles, particularly enhancing shoulder width and strength. It minimizes involvement from other muscles by using a chest support, allowing for more isolated shoulder muscle activation.

How to do it

  1. Position a bench at a 45-degree incline.
  2. Lie face down with your chest against the backrest.
  3. Hold dumbbells with both hands hanging down.
  4. Lift the dumbbells outward to shoulder height.
  5. Slowly lower them back to the starting position.
