Jumping Jacks are a full-body exercise that improves cardiovascular health and endurance. The movement involves jumping to a position with the legs spread and the arms going overhead, then returning to a standing position with arms at the sides. It raises the heart rate and engages multiple muscle groups.
How to do it
- Stand upright with your feet together and arms at your sides.
- Simultaneously jump while spreading your legs to shoulder-width apart and raise your arms over your head.
- Quickly reverse the movement, jumping back to the starting position.
- Repeat the movement at a steady pace for the desired number of repetitions.
