The Hindu squat is a dynamic bodyweight exercise that enhances strength and endurance in the lower body while improving balance and coordination. It involves a fluid movement of squatting down and then rising back up with an emphasis on controlled breathing and rhythm.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and arms at your sides.
  2. Inhale as you lower your body into a squat, swinging your arms back.
  3. Exhale as you stand up, swinging your arms forward.
  4. Keep your back straight and core engaged throughout.
  5. Repeat the movement in a continuous, fluid motion.
