The Dumbbell Bent-Over Row Against Wall targets the upper back muscles while encouraging proper posture and stabilization. Performing the movement with support from a wall can help focus on muscle engagement and reduce unnecessary strain on the lower back.

How to do it

  1. Stand with your back against a wall and feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended.
  3. Hinge forward at the hips while keeping your back straight, creating a 45-degree angle.
  4. Pull the dumbbells towards your hips, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  5. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
