The Dumbbell Alternate Bench Press is a variation of the bench press that involves pressing one dumbbell at a time. This exercise enhances stability and coordination while targeting the chest, triceps, and shoulders.

How to do it

  1. Lie back on a bench holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height.
  2. Engage your core and press one dumbbell upwards, extending your arm fully.
  3. Lower the dumbbell back to the starting position while pressing the other dumbbell up.
  4. Continue alternating arms for the desired number of repetitions.
