The decline shoulder tap is a bodyweight exercise that targets core stability and upper body strength. By elevating the feet, the core is more engaged, enhancing balance and control. This exercise helps in developing coordination, improving shoulder stability, and strengthening the core.
How to do it
- Position yourself in a plank with feet elevated on a bench.
- Align hands directly under shoulders and maintain a straight body line.
- Lift one hand to tap the opposite shoulder while engaging core.
- Return hand to ground and repeat on the other side.
- Continue alternating taps while maintaining a stable base.
