The elbow push-up is a variation of the plank exercise that engages the core muscles intensively while also working the upper body. It helps to build core stability, shoulder strength, and endurance by holding a plank position on the forearms.

How to do it

  1. Start in a plank position with your forearms on the ground and elbows aligned under your shoulders.
  2. Engage your core and keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Hold the position for the desired duration, focusing on keeping your hips level and not sagging your lower back.
