The decline diamond push-up is a variation of the push-up focusing on the triceps, with additional emphasis on the upper chest and shoulders. It is performed with feet elevated and hands close together, forming a diamond shape, to maximize triceps engagement.

How to do it

  1. Place your feet on a bench and assume a plank position with your body in a straight line.
  2. Place your hands close together directly under your chest, forming a diamond shape with your thumbs and index fingers.
  3. Lower your chest towards the diamond by bending your elbows, keeping your body straight.
  4. Push back up to the start position, fully extending your arms while maintaining balance.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control and alignment.
