The Crab exercise is a dynamic rolling movement aimed at core strengthening and flexibility enhancement. It involves coordination and control as the practitioner rocks back and forth in a curled position, engaging the core throughout.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat, holding ankles with hands.
  2. Engage the core and start to roll back onto the shoulders gently.
  3. Rock back to the starting position smoothly and repeat.
  4. Maintain a curled spine and focus on engaging abdominals during the movement.
  5. Breathe naturally and perform the roll in a controlled manner.
