Chest dips are an effective bodyweight exercise focused on building strength and muscle mass in the upper body. They primarily target the lower region of the chest and also engage the triceps and shoulders. Performing dips frequently can enhance overall upper-body symmetry and aesthetics.

How to do it

  1. Position yourself on a dip bar with your arms straight and feet off the ground.
  2. Lean slightly forward, keeping your core engaged and shoulders down.
  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your upper arms are parallel to the ground.
  4. Push back up to the starting position by straightening your elbows.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control throughout.
