The cable triceps pushdown using a V-bar attachment targets the triceps. It effectively isolates and strengthens the triceps brachii, important for arm extension and pushing movements.
How to do it
- Stand facing a cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grasp the V-bar with an overhand grip, elbows close to your sides.
- Extend your arms downward by pushing the bar until your arms are fully extended.
- Pause briefly, then slowly return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
