Cable Triceps Pushdown (V-Bar Attachment)

The cable triceps pushdown using a V-bar attachment targets the triceps. It effectively isolates and strengthens the triceps brachii, important for arm extension and pushing movements.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing a cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grasp the V-bar with an overhand grip, elbows close to your sides.
  3. Extend your arms downward by pushing the bar until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Pause briefly, then slowly return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
