The cable standing reverse-grip curl primarily targets the biceps brachii using a reverse grip. This exercise helps in building strength and size in the arms, particularly the biceps, by engaging the muscles differently compared to a standard curl.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing a cable machine with a straight bar attachment.
  2. Grasp the bar with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Keep your elbows close to your body and slightly bend your knees.
  4. Curl the bar towards your shoulders by flexing the elbows.
  5. Lower the bar back to the starting position with control.
