Cable Standing Reverse-Grip Curl (Straight Bar)
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The cable standing reverse-grip curl primarily targets the biceps brachii using a reverse grip. This exercise helps in building strength and size in the arms, particularly the biceps, by engaging the muscles differently compared to a standard curl.
How to do it
- Stand facing a cable machine with a straight bar attachment.
- Grasp the bar with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your elbows close to your body and slightly bend your knees.
- Curl the bar towards your shoulders by flexing the elbows.
- Lower the bar back to the starting position with control.
