The Cable Standing One-Arm Serratus (Obliques) Crunch is a targeted exercise to strengthen the obliques and improve core stability. It involves side bending at the waist using a cable machine, effectively isolating the obliques and serratus anterior for a more defined waistline.

How to do it

  1. Stand sideways next to a cable machine, holding the handle in one hand.
  2. Position your feet shoulder-width apart and stand straight.
  3. Engage your core and bend sideways at the waist, lowering the handle towards your leg.
  4. Pause briefly, then return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
