The cable standing crossover high reverse fly engages the upper back and shoulders. It improves posture and shoulder stability. Using a cable machine, this exercise helps to strengthen and tone the rear deltoids, rhomboids, and trapezius muscles.
How to do it
- Stand centered with feet shoulder-width apart, holding cable handles in each hand.
- Position the cables high above shoulder height.
- Pull handles outward and back in a reverse fly motion, squeezing the shoulder blades together.
- Keep elbows slightly bent and control the return to starting position.
- Maintain a stable core throughout the movement.
