The cable standing close press is a compound exercise that targets the chest muscles while engaging the shoulders and triceps. It enhances upper body strength and improves muscle definition, particularly focusing on the chest region.

How to do it

  1. Position the pulley at chest height and attach the handles.
  2. Stand in a staggered stance, holding the handles with palms facing inward.
  3. Press the handles forward and together until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Slowly return to the starting position, controlling the movement.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
