The Cable Single Arm Triceps Pushdown targets the triceps brachii, enhancing upper arm strength and definition. Using a cable machine with a rope attachment, it isolates the triceps while also engaging stabilizers in the shoulder and core for balance.
How to do it
- Stand facing a cable machine with a rope attachment set at the high pulley.
- Grasp the rope with one hand, keeping your elbow close to your side.
- Extend your arm downwards fully, contracting the triceps.
- Slowly return to the start position, controlling the movement.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
