Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The seated cable row is an effective exercise for targeting the upper and middle back muscles. By using a twisting motion, this variation engages the obliques alongside the back muscles, improving posture and core stability.
How to do it
- Sit on the ground with feet braced against the platform.
- Grasp the cable handle with one hand, keeping the back straight.
- Pull the handle towards the torso while twisting slightly to engage the obliques.
- Pause briefly at the top of the motion, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch arms.
